Modern Populace is a nonpartisan organizing effort to increase civic activity, build independent power, and advance better leaders. We believe no single party can fix problems. Progress will be made through common understanding and solidarity.
We are looking for people who are tired of partisanship and want to create a modern political union. We want people eager to talk with their Madison neighbors and willing to find common ground on tough issues.
Locally, our goal is to build trust among neighbors, between neighborhoods, and across political divides. We will mobilize support for social and political movements in Madison, throughout Wisconsin, and especially in the Wisconsin 2nd. Nationally, our strategy is to catalyze political change in Congressional districts across the country.
